Resilient Software – From Threat Modeling to Penetration Testing

The IT-Security Community Exchange 2019 (IT-SECX 2019) is a security conference including presentations. The conference supports projects by students and connects IT security experts from research, industry and academia. There will be four parallel tracks with presentations.

The theme of this year’s IT-SECX is „Resilient Software – From Threat Modeling to Penetration Testing“with the aim of discussing secure software development and security byte methods as well as other current security topics.

Submissions are desired for presentations on the following topics:

  • Threat Modeling
  • Secure Software Design
  • Security Testing
  • Exploitation & Attack Methods
  • Web Application & Cloud Security
  • Botnets, Ransomware & Malware Detection
  • Forensics, CERTs & Incident Response
  • IoT Security
  • Networked Society
  • Information Integrity, Privacy & Anonymity
  • Risk & Security Management
  • „No idea is too crazy!“

Submission Guidelines

Submissions are possible for 30 minute presentations (including discussions) no later than September 30th, 2019 – 12:00.

Submissions will be evaluated by our program committee.
Speakers will be notified not later than October 9th, 2019.

Requirements for submission
* Title of presentation
* Abstract, ~ 150 words
* Description, ~ 500 words
* Short Speaker Bio ~ 200 words

The program committee will choose contributions based on your submission, therefore please make sure that your abstract is comprehensible enough. Please refrain from submitting plain product presentations. By submitting you are indicating that you have read and agree to the Privacy Policy (German).
